Local Schools put their best feet forward on National Walk to School Day

This week saw  schools and approx. 600 students put their best feet forward and participated in organised walk to school programs.

The Buderim Lions Walk to School initiative involves the schools of Brightwater, Siena, Chancellor Park, Buderim and Mooloolaba which participate each week.

Its a great way for students to start their day with some light exercise and to meet up with their friends from the local area.  It also assists in reducing traffic congestion in and around schools at high peak time.

Kuluin joined in the fun this week with walking to school on National Walk to School Day.  Mayor Mark Jamieson and local police also joined the students.
